The Almaty Akim Bakytzhan Sagintayev, as part of the continuation of the working detour, visited warehouses at the City Clinical Hospital No. 7 and "KPhC Medservice Plus" LLP, was made aware of the readiness of the infrastructure for receiving and storing doses of vaccines that will be supplied by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for massive vaccination of the population, the correspondent of "Kazinform" International News Agency reports.
The vaccines will be stored in warehouses until further distribution to vaccination centers. Akim got acquainted with the algorithm of storage and distribution of vaccines, checked the conditions created to ensure their proper storage. Visited the goods reception area and inspected the refrigerating chambers.
It is worth noting that refrigerating chambers have been purchased for storing vaccines that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For safety, there is a three-level monitoring system, backup and main refrigeration units, 4 temperature and humidity sensors, electronic and mechanical temperature controllers. In general, taking into account that various medical devices and drugs are stored in the warehouse, different storage areas and humidity control and air exchange are provided.
Saida Yerdenbekova, the Business Development Director of "Medservice Plus KPhC" LLP, informed that the vaccines are delivered in two containers. This is required for risk management and safety, since thermal boxes make it possible to keep the temperature in case of operating failures. The medical staff in charge of the vaccines are trained in the correct handling and prevention of direct contact with the vaccine.
During the working detour, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the City Polyclinic No. 36 and checked the progress of vaccination and talked with citizens who came to undergo vaccination. The management of the polyclinic reported an increase in the number of people wishing to undergo vaccination. The population vaccination algorithm provides for early making an appointment to prevent mass gathering of people.
Visiting medical institutions, the Akim of the city also got acquainted with the situation of hospitalization and treatment of persons with coronavirus infection. In general, the city is ready to accept a batch of doses from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for massive vaccination of the population against COVID-19.
