Zhanat Karimovich Umarov is a doctor by profession and vocation. In 1987 he graduated from the Kazakh State Medical Institute with a degree in General Medicine.

In the period from 1987 to 1991 he worked as a research scientist in the department of thoracic surgery of the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology.

From 1991 to 1993, he completed postgraduate program at the All-Russian Scientific Oncology Center, Moscow. Upon graduation, he defended his thesis on the problem of “Treatment of esophageal cancer”.
Since 1995, he has worked as Deputy Director of “Astana-Medservice” LLP. In 1998, he graduated from the Eurasian Market Institute with a degree in Finance and Credit. In the same year, he took the lead of “Medservice Richter” JV.

Since 2001, he is a Chairman of the Board of “Medservice Plus” company.

Saida Yerdenbekova graduated from the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov with a degree in Pharmacy in 1993.

She has been working in the Medservice Plus Company since 2000. For the first 12 years she worked in a pharmacy warehouse: from a pharmacist to a warehouse manager.

In 2012 she was appointed as the Authorized Person for Quality, since 2014 has been working as the Director of the Quality Department.

Currently, holds the position of the Director of the Business Development Department, and also supervises the launch and development of a pharmaceutical production site.

During her work in the Company, she has carried out effective work on certification of the Company’s pharmacies and pharmacy warehouses for compliance with international standards GPP, GDP. Successfully completed a project for the construction, equipment, automation and launch of an “A Class” pharmacy warehouse in Almaty.

S. Yerdenbekova is a Member of the Working group for the formation of common approaches to the regulation of the circulation of medicines within the EAEU. She is a participant in the development of a draft agreement on common principles and rules for medical devices and medical equipment on the territory of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Saida also participates in the project for labeling goods of the CU countries.

Arman Zhulkashev graduated from the Astrakhan Technical Institute “Astrakhan Technical Institute of Fishing Industry and Economy” in 1992. In 1996 he mastered the specialty of a biologist at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University.

Arman Sapiyevich began his career at Astana-Medservice in 1996 in a position of a manager, and subsequently became the Head of the Customs Department.

In the period from 1998 to 2000, he worked as a commercial employee of the representative office of the Hungarian “Gedeon Richter” plant.

In 2003 he graduated from KazEU named after Ryskulov, majoring in Finance.
Since 2000, he has held the position of Executive Director at “Medservice Plus”, supervises departments that cover personnel and general administrative issues: logistics and transport support for warehouses, registration and licensing of medicines, information technology department, legal support.

Sergey Shevchenko graduated from the Tselinograd Cooperative Technical School with a degree in Industrial and Food Commodity Expert in 1981.

In 1984 he graduated from the Karaganda Cooperative Institute with a degree in Commodity Expert. From 1981 to 1984, he worked in a consumer cooperative in a position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of the “Mayakovskiy SRK” in the Turgai Oblast.

From 1984 to 1989 he was the Chief Executive of the URSA “Tselintransstroy” domestic train.
In the period from 1989 to 1993, he was engaged in entrepreneurial activities as the director of a small state enterprise. Afterwards, from 1993 to 1996, he was appointed a Deputy Chairman of the Board of “Tselintransstroy” URS JSC.

He began his career in “Medservice Plus” company in the position of the Director of the Astana Branch. Since 2010, he has been a Member of the Board and manages the branch chain of the Company.

Lira Kaimoldina graduated from East Kazakhstan University with a degree in State and Municipal Management in 1997. The second “Jurisprudence” specialty was mastered in 2005 at the “Kazakh Academy of Labor and Social Relations”.

Lira has successfully proved herself as a chief executive in various companies. Accordingly, from 2005 to 2006, she served as Deputy Chairman of the Board for Financial Affairs at “KazRuno” JSC. From 2006 to 2007, she worked at “ST Croup Wool Corporation” LLP as a Financial Director.

L. Kaimoldina has been working at “Medservice Plus” in a position of a Financial Director since 2008, she coordinates asset management, budget planning and execution, audit, tax planning, accounting and management reporting.

She continuously improves her qualifications, has a certificate of an accountant-practitioner in accordance with IFRS (CAP). In 2010, she mastered an MBA at the “International Academy of Business” with a degree in Corporate Management. She also received an ACCA DipIFR diploma and a certificate of a professional accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IFRS).

Svetlana Volchenko graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Actuarial Mathematics in 2004.

She has been working in the “Medservice Plus” company since 2005. She started as a Manager of the Public Procurement Department and in 2007 she appointed as the Head of the Department.

From 2011 to 2015, she headed the Department of Foreign Economic Activity. Currently Svetlana is the Deputy Commercial Director for Distribution.

Akmaral Salamat graduated from the King’s College London University with honors with a degree in Business Management in 2010.

Since 2009, she has been a member of the Management Board of “Medservice Plus” KPhC. Successfully supervises the Company’s projects of financial restructuring and cooperation with international financial organizations.

Saule Turkpenova graduated from the Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Teacher of Psychology and Pedagogy in 1992.

In 1997 she mastered postgraduate training program at Al Farabi Kazakh State University with a degree in Sociology and Psychology. After defending her Ph.D. thesis, she has been teaching at the Department of Sociology and Law of the Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov.

From 1995 to 2004, she worked as an Executive Director at the Basis Realty law firm.
In 2000 she mastered the specialty of “Jurisprudence” at the Central Asian University. In 2005, she took the lead of the Human Resources Department of “CHANNEL 31” Kazakh Television Radio Company.
From 2006 to 2009, she held the position of Managing Director at “TemirBank” JSC, supervised the work of the Human Resources Department.

From 2009 to 2014 – Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines at the University of International Business (UIB).

Currently, she is a consultant at the Institute for Human Perspectives (Astana), participates in projects for the development of human resources in various fields and spheres of activity.

Since 2014, she has been the Head of the Human Resources Department of “Medservice Plus” KPhC

Akmaral completed the Board of Directors Governance Program at the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland in 2023.

Akmaral Salamat graduated with honors from the “King’s College London University” with a degree in Business Management in 2010.

Since 2023 is a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “Medservice Plus” KPhC and a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Ethics and Compliance Committee.

Akmaral has been a co-owner of “IDOCSKZ” LLP since 2018. In 2016-2022, she was an Adviser to the Chairman of the Management Board of “Medservice Plus” KPhC In 2010-2016, she was a member of the Management Board of “Medservice Plus” KPhC. Successfully supervised the company’s financial restructuring projects in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers, was in charge of international cooperation with the company’s partners.

Andreas graduated from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the world’s leading banking organizations, including LGT, Julius Bär and Credit Suisse.

In these years Andreas John was a member of the Private Banking Operating Committee for Emerging Markets and Regions of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Credit Suisse Swiss Bank.

He was an ExB member of the EMEA region in the field of investment banking services at Credit Suisse.

Currently, he is the owner and CEO of SA Swiss Wealth Engineering, a consulting company specializing in UHNWI, private equity investment and key positions on the board of directors.

Nikolai Shafer graduated from the Chemical Engineering University in Nizhny Novgorod, where he passed his PhD defense subsequently and taught for several years.

Nikolay has been a business consultant and an expert on communication solutions since 2022.

From 1997 to 2021 he worked as a manager and head of the export department, supervised sales and export issues in the markets of Eastern Europe and CIS countries, controlled the activities of subsidiaries.

Dmitry graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Economics.

Since 2011, Dmitry Nadirov has been Chairman of the Management Board of “European Insurance Company” JSC.

Completed training in business administration at the Maastricht School of Management (the Netherlands) and the International Business Academy (Kazakhstan) in 2005.

Since 1996, he has worked in senior positions in “Interteach” Kazakh Health and Medical Insurance Corporation JSC.

Yuri graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management in 2001 with a degree in
accounting/audit.

Yuri Kan is an active holder of international professional certificates such as: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and CMA (Certified Management Accountant).

For more than 20 years of his career, he has worked in such industries as: construction and management of marine vessels, construction in the oil and gas industry, catering, support services and aviation projects.

For most of his career, Yuri has worked abroad (Kuwait, UAE, Lebanon) and in joint ventures such as Compass Group, Aker / Kvaerner, Baker Hughes, etc.

Since July 2022, Yuri has also been a Vice-President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA KZ), as well as a member of the Board of Directors, where he actively participates in the development of internal audit in Kazakhstan.

Since the beginning of 2022, Yuri has been working as an adviser to the Chairman of the Management Board of Medservice Plus and is in charge of corporate governance, financial issues, internal audit, and is also involved in special projects.

He worked in internal audit for about 5 years (ADNH Compass in Abu Dhabi, Eurest Support Services in Kuwait and Lebanon).

He has successfully worked as a CFO in foreign companies for 11 years, being in charge of the development of effective cash flow management, issues of commerce, PnL and increasing the value of the company.

Aidana graduated with honors from Suleyman Demirel University with a degree in International Law, and holds a certificate of graduation from the National Academy of Corporate Governance Astana in the “Fundamentals of Corporate Governance” program.

Since August 2022, he has been working as a lawyer of “MEDSERVICE PLUS” KPhC.

She was employed at the “Synergy Partners Law Firm” as a lawyer previously.

Shukran Alakbarov
Independent Director. Member of the Supervisory Board. Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of Medservice Plus KPhC LLP.
Shukran graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in Baku in 1996 where he majored in Finance. More recently, in 2020 Shukran earned the degree of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the International University of Monaco (IUM).
Shukran is a US Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has over 27 years of experience in external auditing, financial management, and internal auditing. Throughout his career, Shukran has worked for PwC, KPMG, Central Asia Energy (Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan), Eurest Support Services (Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan), SBK (Ukraine), and Lifecell (Ukraine and Belarus).
In 2009 Shukran and his former colleague from Turkcell established their own financial consulting firm called I&A CMA Partners LLC, which advised the clients on complex financial reporting issues, budgeting and forecasting, startup valuations, and business plan preparation.
From 2011 through 2022 Shukran acted as the Internal Audit Director Enel (Russia) where he reported to the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee and the Board of Directors of the Company.
In March 2024 Shukran assumed the role of an Internal Audit Director for the AzerÇay group of companies in Russia which owns and runs tea, coffee, vegetables, and textile factories.
