Since January 5, 2025, the shipment of medicines to medical organizations has begun in the amount of 18.14 billion tenge. Budget savings as a result of purchases amounted to over 56.6 billion tenge. These funds will be used to purchase drugs in priority areas.
The single distributor concluded 689 long-term contracts for 188.3 billion tenge for the supply of medicines, 117 direct contracts for 70 billion tenge, 21 direct contracts for 12.6 billion tenge.
At the same time, the List of Medicines and Products for Free and Subsidized Provision to Citizens with Certain Diseases is being updated. The changes are based on international experience, and the emphasis is on a patient-oriented approach, which will increase the availability and effectiveness of patient treatment.
To accurately account for needs, the Ministry has developed a new method for automated calculation of medicines.
District doctors will fill in patient data in information systems, which will ensure a personalized approach and timely replenishment of supplies.
