Amendments to the order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 18, 2021 No. ҚР ДСМ – 41 “On approval of the Kazakhstan National Drug Formulary” have been posted for discussion on the Internet portal of open regulatory legal acts.
Changes include:
14 positions of new INNs with 21 positions of TN and 7 positions of new TNs included in accordance with paragraph 9 of Order No. ҚР ДСМ-326/2020, based on the decisions of the Formulary Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
1 position of the medicinal product (INN - Vigabatrin, LF - powder for the preparation of a suspension for oral administration) was included, included in accordance with paragraph 9 of Order No. ҚР ДСМ-326/2020, based on the decision of the Formulary Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2023 (Protocol No. 80);
307 positions of new TN medicinal products were included, in accordance with paragraph 13 of Order No. ҚР ДСМ-326/2020.
At the same time, the following were excluded from the KNF project:
1 position of TN (INN - Vigabatrin, TN - Sabril) based on the decisions of the Formulary Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2023 (Protocol No. 80);
680 positions of TN medicinal products due to the expiration of the registration period in the Republic of Kazakhstan for a period exceeding three years, in accordance with subparagraph 3 of paragraph 11 of Order No. ҚР ДСМ-326/2020;
4 positions of the TN, due to the non-compliance of the ATX and INN with the state register of medicines and medical devices of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as non-compliance with the criteria of the Rules for the formation of the KNF, based on the decisions of the Formulary Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 22, 24 (Protocol No. 97);
21 positions of medicinal products due to duplication of RU in the KNF project.
At the same time, amendments have been made to the draft KNF to update data regarding ATX, INN, TN codes and dosage forms in accordance with the State Register of Medicines and Medical Devices.
